Tell Us Why You Love XBLA and Win

For me, the answer is obvious: a chance to experience those wonderful games I grew up with from yesteryear, but often with HD graphics or other upgrades!

Classic games like TMNT 1989 Arcade, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Golden Axe, and the greatest most influenced shooter of all time, Doom, are easily available to enjoy one more for all. Many of these titles I played in a real arcade before such places became an endangered species, and they bring back a lot of very fond memories.

Now if only they'd release Final Doom...

I selected as a winner of the contest, Vol. 1 would be my preference.

There are tonnes of great games in XBLA. I have some already, and there are great games added every week. There are some I still want to get too. Great classics too.

I love XBLA! I've recently started playing games off of it and let me tell you I'm having a blast! Whether I'm playing Shadow Complex, Battlefield 1943, or Indie Games such as Soul and Avatar Drop...I love it!

They're just so easy to pick up and you get access to classics such as Mortal Kombat, Doom, and what not. I'm also a sucker for the good old puzzle games and classics. Zuma is very very fun but I haven't downloaded it...quite yet!

I've always been obsessed with video games and I have an eclectic taste. Xbox Live Arcade has to be one of the best features of Xbox Live by far .

cause its fun to play the arcade with friends and such and there so simple yet so damn fun plus you dont need to put a disk in to play the games its just poof on the dash hmm lets play some arcade games plus marble blast is an intensely fun game and now perfect dark is coming that should be fun all the classics that you can play without having to even get up. plus there's a lot of good party games like uno there fun that's all there is to it if i was to win i would like volume one

I like XBLA because I can play my favorite retro games on my modern 360.

well, first and foremost, it posts alot of the old games I used to play.
Xbox live arcade games are also great past-timers, I always get bored/mad/tired, and I like to play trials hd and see if I can beat one of my old times. It shows that little games can also mean alot. Little can be just as good as big.
Their pretty unexpensive most of the time, and well, who doesn't like shadow complex, battlefield 1943, trials hd, peggle, heavy weapons, like who has played peggle once and did not like it. I love that game. Steam = <3.

It allows me to be able to play various games, and keep me entertained, without having to buy expensive full games each time I get bored. They are often handed out for free (such as now) and I can obtain them without even paying, extending my time enjoying XBL. They are a great substitute to full games.

Im not going to lie.

I like them because theyre cheap and I dont have to get up to switch the disk if I want to play a new one.

They're fun, little games that keep me entertained when I get bored of my Retail games... being able to buy them from home is also nice.
