Alien: Isolation is the newly announced survival-horror game being developed by Creative Assembly. The game will have you playing as the mid-twenties Amanda Ripley, Ellen Ripley’s daughter, on board the remote station Sevastopol attempting to retrieve the flight recorder of the Nostromo for your employers at Weyland-Yutani. The trailer shows off many survival-horror aspects of the game, and it looks like it’s safe to say that you won’t be battling waves of Xenomorphs with an assault rifle in this game, which is for the best.
Alien: Isolation is slated for a “late 2014” release and is coming to the Xbox One, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC. Is this what we’ve been waiting for from the Alien franchise, or have games like Aliens: Colonial Marines put a sour taste in your mouth? Let us know in the comments!
