It has been revealed today that the upcoming first-person shooter, Titanfall, will support a maximum of 12 players in one match.
The news was posted on the Twitter account of Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella, who in response to the question of how many players the game would support, said “6v6 is max player count. Turned out to be the best balance with ai for us.”
Whilst this may come as a concern to many people excited for the release in March later this year, the Respawn team assures that after a lot of testing, 6 versus 6 matches proved to be “incredibly fun” and the optimum player count for the Titanfall experience.
It is also worth considering the fact that every player can have an accompanying Titan, and there will be many AI players to keep the experience as hectic and exciting as many have expected the final product to be.
