I hope you like tanks, because you have a heavy fortnight ahead of you in Halo 4 matchmaking, if you know what I mean! Read on for info on what’s to come in Halo 4 matchmaking, as well as some news on Halo: Escalation and Spartan Assault!
The highly popular FFA mode Ninja Assassins will be available until the update on Monday 28th, where it will be replaced with the returning featured playlist, Multi Team. Multi Team will again feature 4 teams of 3 players, and will include the following modes:
- Infinity Slayer
- Legendary Slayer BR
As you may or may not have noticed, Legendary Slayer BR has been added to the mix after winning last week’s Community Choice poll.
Also to be included in Monday’s update is the highly anticipated return of the Heavies playlist! Heavies will now be leaving the featured playlist pool to become its own dedicated playlist, taking Ricochet’s place as it is merged into other playlists.
Heavies will include the Slayer, King of the Hill and Capture The Flag game modes and will be available on the following maps:

Users of Windows 8.1 can now purchase Halo: Spartan Assault on any 8.1 platform and download it on other 8.1 platforms free of charge! This functionality is set to expand to windows 8.0 users in May.
