Once again, it’s time for a new set of challenges. This time, we’re changing the format a bit – it’s time for a pop quiz! Before I explain how this is going to work, here are last time’s challenges, and the results:
Forge a New Path…
Using Forge mode from Halo 3, Reach or 4, design a map (and a gametype if relevant), or create some form of art! The best art pieces will be showcased, and if any of the maps/gametypes are appropriate, they may (no promises!) be featured in a future game night!
Complete 3 sets of 3 achievements; each set from a different game.
Campaigner: Part 7
Complete the seventh mission from Halo 4′s campaign, “Composer”, on Normal difficulty, but with ALL skulls on. Co-op allowed, no player limit.
The entries for these challenges leave the leaderboard as follows:
|#1||Ye Olde Apple||10|
Now, for the next challenge to face… a small pop-quiz!
There are 2 different sections, both with a different point structure. There is a contact form at the bottom of the quiz for you to give your entries, please do not enter via a forum post. If there are any questions about this new format or the contact form then by all means feel free to PM me.
Section 1: Quickfire Round
Get all of these right, you get 3 points.
Get 3 of these right, you get 2 points.
Get 1 of these right, you get 1 point.
You will lose a point if at least 2 of these are wrong, though – so answer carefully! You can opt to simply not answer some of the questions… the decision is yours to make.
#1: The catchphrase “My Body is Ready”, originated from who, and how did it come about?
#2: The motion-control device for the Xbox consoles, “Kinect”, what originally codenamed what?
#3: Who was the mastermind of the SPARTAN-III program, and where were the SPARTAN-III’s trained?
#4: What is the best selling video game of all time? (By units sold)
#5: Which mission, in which 2009 FPS game, was considered extremely controversial due to it’s violent nature?
Section 2: Educated Guesses, Anyone?
The tub pictured below contains a selection of delicious confectionery, the quantity of which is unknown to all but me. The task is simple: How many sweets are there in this tub?
The closest guess will receive 3 points, the second closest will receive 2 points, and the third closest 1 point.

And there you have it! I will aim to mix things up a bit in various ways, with new ideas like this, so be sure to let me know what you think of any new formats I may present for the challenges – feedback is important!
(The rules/guidelines can be found here.)
Good luck, everyone!
