EA isn’t known for making decisions that leave consumers happy all of the time, but with the recent announcement of Battlefield: Hardline and Dragon Age: Inquisition both being pushed back, it would seem they’re trying to rectify that. Another way they’re trying to get back in our good graces is with the new EA Access program, a $5/month (or $30/year) subscription which gives you UNLIMITED access to Battlefield 4, FIFA ’14, Madden 25 and Peggle 2.
EA Access is available in beta NOW for some select users, with a wider launch planned for sometime “soon,” with additional games added to the vault in time.
In addition to access to these four games, you’ll also get a 10% discount on EA’s digital offers including full games and memberships like EA Sports UFC, Battlefield 4 Premium and coins for Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare.
How do you feel about subscription models like this for games? Do you think it’s a good value? And what about the game choices? Let us know what you think in the comments!
