In a post on UbiBlog today, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed: Unity will be delayed by two weeks to polish and add finishing touches to the game.
Now releasing on November 11th in North America and November 13th in other markets, Assassin’s Creed Unity will be launching alongside Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, which has had its release dates adjusted to make this happen.
Senior Producer Vincent Pontbriand summed up the move saying:
“We honestly appreciate their commitment to the game and their patience. It’s just a couple more weeks. And it’s going to be worth it.”
Since announcement, Unity has been shaping to be one of the strongest titles in the series to date, with 4 player co-op, a brand-new dedicated stealth system and “next-gen” console exclusivity.
Fun fact – This delay means Unity will now launch on the same day as Halo: The Master Chief Collection!
What do you think of this move, are you content to wait for Unity?
