Latest Titanfall 2 News Update Details Upcoming DLC and Highlights the Community

In a blog posted today to the official Titanfall website, many topics were covered. Including details about the next upcoming DLC, plans for the future, and community highlights.

Being sure to make a point of the longevity of the game, talks about future DLC plans were made clear. All future content that has any impact on gameplay (weapons, maps, etc.) will be FREE. Hiding these items behind a paywall just proves to separate the community and that is something that no one wants to happen. That being said, some items will be available for purchase for a small modest price if players so choose, but only items that have NO effect on gameplay. These items include things such as skins, camos, and “Prime Titans”, which are the same Titan loadouts, but with a different chassis and assassination animation. Essentially, everything available for purchase will be cosmetics only and there will be no RNG. If a player wishes to buy something, you get what you buy. This new in-game store arrives with the first DLC drop on November 30th.

The first DLC to drop will be called “Angel City’s Most Wanted.” The original Titanfall included a map entitled Angel City and it quickly became one of the most popular maps in the game. Respawn has decided to bring it back for Titanfall 2.
